Original Film Treatment

My A2 film is going to be a gritty Horror/Thriller which is going to involve one main antagonist whom is going to be the brains behind a kidnapping of a young woman who had rejected him years ago, breaking his heart and snapping his mind, So he had been plotting his revenge over the course of about a year and a half. Because he still has love for the woman, he could not himself commit the task of knocking her out, transporting her and eventually torturing her to within an inch of her sanity; he needed to hire some brawn for the dirty jobs which he couldn't accomplish, so he will ask his brother whom has no such feeling and had been in the protection/security business for many years before taking private contracts to rough people up and occasionally torture people, he has a tall, broad and almost monstrous frame which in a dark gritty set, with slight Low Mid shots could look very scary and intimidating.

The story would end with the girl post-torture, probally in a point of view shot inside a dark basement looking up a flight of stairs, the girl would be heavily breathing, in obvious pain which as a door slams, would stop and be almost silent as two men walked down the stairs in front of her, the shot would insure that you could only see up suspense, there shall also be sound added which shall be a heartbeat which also adds suspense, the film would end with the smaller man lifting the camera's front up which because its being shot in a point of view style gives the impression her head is being lifted, diagetic sound of her tears and sniffles can be heard as the camera focuses on the lower face of the man who loved her, the sound of a knife being unsheathed is heard as the man says "time to break that heart" and the screen cuts to black as a scream is heard and the film ends with the same heartbeat from the beginning.

This idea ended up being changed completely and we came up with another, less cliche one.
