Robert Sutton, 29, became a news presenter by years of graft, which started him going on Work Experience with Barnsley Chronicle and discovering a love for journalism, which he followed up by taking a journalism course and excelling at it at college, where he went on to study Journalism at University. During his time at University he got himself an apprenticeship with ITV news show, Calendar, in which he shadowed reporters and presenters in their days work. During his time at Calendar he made a good reputation for himself and was rewarded by getting a job being a reporter. After years of doing this he finally got his opportunity as the news presenter when the current presenter retired, and Sutton being the obvious replacement. He now has an exceptional reputation and his the most watched news reporter in the region and major news programs battling it out to get Sutton as their presenter.
