Ryan Fogg is 17, and is a twin to Lewis Fogg. Lewis was born 7 minutes prior to Ryan. Younger sister Jayne was born a year later. Ryan is quite an emotional character and not as tough as his elder brother, which Lewis often teases and ridicules him about. Ryan is not as popular as his elder brother or his younger sister and is somewhat an outcast at school.
Ryan was very attached to his grandfather, who died when he was 14. This was the point in which split the twins, Lewis coped with the death well as Ryan really struggled to get over the loss. Both twins were very close until the death of the grandfather, and caused a lot of arguments because of how close Ryan was to him.
